About TAFE Tasmania
In Australia, TAFE (Technical and Further Education) Institutes are government owned and are responsible for training people for work in a large variety of employment areas. TAFE learning is practical, and students gain real work skills.
The Institute of TAFE Tasmania is a multi-campus institution and provides high quality vocational education and training to over 29,000 local students per year. It is the only TAFE in Tasmania.
